A plumbing service that I previously used recommended the repIacement of my shower mixing valve cartridge (to alleviate problem with frequent lukewarm showers) and quoted me a price to perform the services. The quoted price appeared excessive. I contacted Ace Handyman Services and was referred to Professional Plumbers. A couple of weeks ago, Chris Kirsten with Professional Plumbers came by my house. He said that he didn't believe that the flow of water from the showerhead was adequate and recommended that I turn on a sink tap simultaneously with turning on the shower. I did so for several consecutive days and am now able to take hot showers daily. All I need now is to replace the shower head. I was impressed by Mr. Kirsten's honesty.
